Where are we heading to????

Today, when there is lot of political chaos in our country, all parties are blaming other parties;  there is man who is posting whatever little good work he did and how our social indexes or economic indexes improved or fell because of that. He is none other than our very own PM Dr. Man-Mohan Singh.

It is very painful to see that we only love criticizing others and never discuss about what all good that particular individual or a party did. We decide our political heroes based on how good an orator he is and how emotional he can make us. We don’t even care the way they disrespect or make fun of others in public. Are these the qualities we want in our leaders?

We are already losing some of the good people in politics. Be it Atal Bihari Vajpayee who lost 2004 LS elections because of his own party men like Narendra Modi or be it Manmohan Singh who is criticized for his inaction when everyone knows that he is not the one who has power in Congress party.Lot of good work happened during their reign but because of communal interests of some people in BJP and high corruption and political attitude tendencies of some people in UPA both of them moved away /are moving away from politics.

There was another uprising which happened in 2011, when IAC started their movement against corruption in India leading to forming of a political party – AAP. What I appreciate about AAP creators is the fact that rather than simply criticizing the system they entered into the system. Now they are facing the same things which they used to do with other political parties. I am not sure if they will rise or fall but atleast they tried to do something to improve the system.

But what is more painful to see is likes of Anna and Kiran Bedi who only know how to criticize, have no guts to get into the system, call themselves neutral and are favoring BJP and calling IAC movement a movement against congress and not BJP, when the whole world was thinking the movement was against corruption. Infact they have resorted to such a low level that they have started calling AAP B-Team of congress.

Criticism is not bad but that should not be the sole aim of a leader and people who call likes of Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal as true leaders should understand this. There is still a lot they need to learn. Otherwise we will end up in a complete mess.We may develop infra or increase FDIs in our country by choosing a PM like Modi or get our basic facilities at cheaper rates and a less corrupt system by choosing a PM like Arvind Kejriwal but unless there is no social stability in the country, we as a country will never grow. Our leaders have to learn appreciating the work of others, stop disrespecting and making fun of people, be more resilient to criticism and become a better human being.
